Poste proposé : Technical Support Officer

Missions :

  • Support clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Respond within agreed time limits (SLA) to call-outs
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
  • Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
  • Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other teams within the organization, such as software developers and system testers
  • Software loading and hardware maintenance of Point of Sale terminals (POS): Experience in this field would be a definite advantage
  • Maintenance of Card Platform infrastructure (POS, Card reader, printer etc…)
  • Ability to document all work using required standards and methods.
  • Participating in kickoff and project implementation (offsite & onsite)
  • Managing software releases & deployment while ensuring high quality and accuracy.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications
  • Ensure follow up with Team Leader & Operation Manager on a regular basis and escalate issues promptly
  • Ability to document all work using required standards and methods.
  • Identify impending risks that may compromise achievement of deliverables and initiate steps to mitigate it
  • Serve as a conduit for customer feedback impacting business improvement.
  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
Profil recherché pour le poste : Technical Support Officer
  • Setup and maintenance of web servers (IIS, Apache)
  • Basic Knowledge of Windows administration
  • Administration of Linux OS like OpenSuse, CentOS, Red Hat
  • Be proficient in databases (MySQL) administration and scripting out of data.
  • Exposure to cloud computing would be an advantage
  • Technology Savvy
  • Very good attention to details
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Provide application support
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Experience in release of applications will be a plus
  • Some Development knowledge to automate processes will be a plus
